Oriental Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, sliced and chopped in bite size pieces
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    1 pkg. dry Italian salad dressing mix
    3/4 c. almonds, chopped and toasted
    1/3 c. roasted sesame seed
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 pkg. chicken flavor Ramen
    1/4 c. vinegar (rice vinegar best)
Preparation
    Mix together salad dressing package, Ramen flavor packets, vinegar, oil and a little juice from water chestnuts.
    Combine with cabbage, drained water chestnuts and celery.
    Marinate overnight.
    Add Ramen noodles (crushed by hand), almonds and sesame seed before serving.
    Mix well.
    Serves 8 to 12 people.
