Chicken And Corn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 chicken
    2 qt. chicken stock or broth
    3/4 c. coarsely chopped onion
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped carrots
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped celery
    3/4 c. corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
Preparation
    Combine chicken with chicken stock, onion and celery.
    Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour, skimming the surface as necessary. Remove the chicken and cool.
    Pick the meat from the bones and cut into small pieces.
    Strain broth through a fine sieve.
    Add the corn, parsley (1 tablespoon) and 1 cup cooked egg noodles to the broth.
    Return to simmer and serve immediately.
    Serves 8.
