Maple Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
6 pork chops (about 1 1/2 lb.), fat trimmed
1/4 c. onion, peeled and chopped
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. maple syrup
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. flour (optional; to thicken gravy)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
In a large skillet, heat oil.
Add pork chops and brown, turning once to brown second side.
Place pork chops in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
In a medium saucepan over a low heat, combine onion, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, chili powder, pepper, maple syrup and water, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Pour the mixture over pork chops and bake covered for 45 minutes, basting occasionally.
Uncover and bake additional 15 minutes. Remove pork chops; cover and set aside.
