Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus spears
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. corn flake crumbs
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook asparagus until tender, reserving liquid.
    Melt butter; blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add asparagus liquid to evaporated milk to make 1 1/2 cups.
    Stir into flour mixture. Blend until smooth.
    Cook 2 minutes.
