Michigan Rocks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter or lard with 1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. hot water
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 c. nuts
    1 lb. raisins or balt currants
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix.
    Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 minutes.
