Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 to 3 tsp. curry powder
    1 (16 oz.) can pear halves
    1 (16 oz.) can peach halves
    1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can pineapple slices or chunks
    1 small jar maraschino cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to
    325\u00b0.
    Melt
    butter; add sugar and curry. Drain and dry
    fruits;
    place
    in 2 quart casserole in layers; add butter mixture.
    Bake
    40 to 50 minutes, uncovered.
    Serve warm. Makes 12 servings.
