Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 tsp. water
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream margarine, sugar and vanilla.
Add egg and water; beat until light and fluffy.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Blend into creamed mixture.
Divide dough in half; chill 1 hour. On floured surface, roll dough 1/8-inch thickness.
Cut in desired shapes and brush with milk.
Decorate with sugar.
Bake on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
