Roast Pheasant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) pheasant
    1/2 stick butter
    3 strips bacon
Preparation
    Rub inside with butter.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Place strips of bacon on bird.
    Bake, uncovered, in slow oven at 325\u00b0 until tender, about 1 hour.
    Baste often.
