Honey Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening (partially butter)
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. honey
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    apricot jam
Preparation
    Mix sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Add honey and vanilla.
    Sift in flour and soda.
    Chill until firm.
    Form into small balls and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
    Place apricot jam between 2 cooled cookies.
