Black Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. black beans
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 green peppers, chopped
    1/2 minced clove garlic
    1 bay leaf
    2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. brown rice, cooked
    green onion, chopped
Preparation
    Cover beans with 6 cups boiling water and cook 1 hour.
    Braise onions, green peppers and garlic in water.
    Combine with beans; add other seasonings and cook until beans are tender and liquid is thick.
    Serve over brown rice and sprinkle green onion on top of beans.
    Serves 4 to 6.
