Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 c. sugar
    21 small Premium crackers, unsalted tops
    12 dates, chopped fine
    1/2 c. chopped almonds
    1 tsp. vanilla
    vanilla ice cream
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Roll crackers very fine; set aside.
    Beat egg whites until very stiff; add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time.
    Add crackers, dates, nuts and vanilla.
    Mix thoroughly and place in greased pie pan and bake.
    Cool in refrigerator and serve with vanilla ice cream and/or whipped topping or cut into small pieces and freeze.
