Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    1 stick margarine (or butter)
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Combine corn meal, sugar and salt.
    Mix well and add boiling water and margarine.
    Cook until thick in a pan.
    Remove the mixture from heat.
    Add milk, eggs and baking powder and mix well. Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Remove from heat and set to cool 20 minutes before cutting.
    Makes 24 servings.
