Hattie'S Lemon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg yolks
4 egg whites
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. butter
1 c. water
1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
1 c. sugar
24 graham crackers
Preparation

Add 1/2 cup sugar to egg yolks, 1/2 cup water and lemon juice and cook over slow fire.
While hot, add Jell-O and 1/2 cup water; cool.
Beat cream and 1/4 cup sugar.
Fold into mixture.
Beat egg whites and add 1/4 cup sugar; fold into mixture.
