Caramel Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 stick real butter
    2 c. flour, sifted once
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Melt together the sugar and butter over low heat.
    Let cool enough not to cook eggs.
    Add eggs.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add nuts.
    Add dry mixture to butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Beat.
    Grease pan with butter.
    Pour mixture into greased pan and cook 45 minutes in a 300\u00b0 oven.
    Cook in oblong pan like used for layer cake.
    Cut into squares and roll in powdered sugar.
