Buns For Hot Dogs And Hamburgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. scalded milk, cooled
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    1 tsp. salt
    3 to 3 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    In a mixing bowl, combine milk, margarine, sugar, salt, egg and 2 cups flour; beat well for 2 minutes.
    Beat in remaining flour by hand to make a soft dough. Knead.
    Let rise until double in bulk.
    Punch down; roll out on floured surface 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut into desired size and shape. Put on greased cookie sheet; let rise until double in bulk again. Brush with water; sprinkle
    with sesame or poppy seed.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
