Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    1/2 c. green pepper, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, sliced and drained
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. Heinz 57 sauce
    2 chopped tomatoes or 1 can
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    1 c. okra, sliced and cooked
Preparation
    Saute onion, celery and pepper in oleo (use a large skillet) until vegetables are tender (about 5 minutes).
    Blend in flour and salt.
    Stir in water and 57 sauce.
    Cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil.
    Add tomatoes and meat of your choice, ham, cooked chicken or shrimp.
    Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
