Amaretto Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    1 c. cold water
    1 can tart cherry pie filling
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. Cool Whip
    2 Tbsp. Amaretto liquor
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in cold water by cooking over low heat.
    Chop up 2 cups pie filling.
    Stir in gelatin mixture, sugar, lemon juice, salt and almond extract.
    Refrigerate until slightly set. Fold in whipped cream.
    Refrigerate until set.
