Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. coarsely chopped, seeded tomatoes (about 1 1/4 lb.)
    2 green onions with tops, sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 to 2 tsp. minced, seeded jalapeno or Serrano chili peppers
    1 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
    2 to 3 tsp. lime juice
    8 to 10 sprigs fresh cilantro, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt to taste
    1/2 tsp. sugar to taste
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Combine tomatoes, green onions, garlic, pepper, oil and lime juice in a medium bowl.
    Stir in cilantro, if desired.
    Season with salt, sugar and pepper.
    Adjust seasonings to taste, adding lime juice or chili pepper, if desired.
    Makes about 2 cups.
