Quick Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (1 lb. 14 oz. each) cling peach halves
    3/ c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    3 sticks cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Drain syrup from peaches.
    Reserve peach halves.
    Combine syrup, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon and cloves.
    Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over peach halves.
    Chill.
    Drain.
    Pierce each peach half with one whole clove.
    Yields about 16 peach halves.
