Double Quick Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm water
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. soft shortening
Preparation
    In medium size mixing bowl, combine water and yeast; dissolve. Mix in 1/2 flour, sugar and salt.
    Beat with spoon until smooth. Add egg and shortening.
    Beat in rest of flour until smooth. Scrape down sides of bowl; cover with cloth.
    Let rise about 30 minutes at approximately 85\u00b0.
    Grease 12 muffin cups.
    Stir down. Fill cups; let rise until dough reaches top of cups.
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
