Ingredients

1 1/4 c. butter or oleo, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz.) pkg. Reese's peanut butter chips or 2 c. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
Preparation

Heat
oven
to 350\u00b0.
In large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar
until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine
flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt;
gradually blend into
creamed mixture.
Stir in peanut butter or chocolate\tchips. Drop
by
teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes.
(Do not overbake.
Cookies will be soft. They
will puff while baking and flatten while cooking.) Cool slightly. Remove
from
cookie
sheet
onto
wire rack.
Cool completely. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
