Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. tart apples, chopped
chopped walnuts to taste
raisins to taste

Preparation

Combine the oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla; cream well.
Add the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and mix well.
Stir in the apples, walnuts and raisins.
Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
Pour batter into well-greased angel food cake pan.
Bake 1 hour.
Turn oven off.
Open door and let cake stay in oven for 1/2 hour more. Turn upside down; cake comes right out.
Frost or not.
