Italian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. boneless chuck roast
    dash of oregano
    1 bay leaf
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. caraway seed
    2 medium onions, sliced or 3 to 4 Tbsp. minced onion flakes
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Salt and pepper meat.
    Crock-pot Directions:
    Place in crock-pot.
    Add all ingredients; cover and place on low heat for 6 to 8 hours.
    Take meat out; slice and shred beef and return to crock-pot.
    Cover and cook 1/2 hour longer or until desired tenderness.
    Serve on French bread as sandwich or open-faced.
