King Stubb'S Roasted Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shelled pecans
    1/2 to 1 tsp. butter or oleo
    salt
Preparation
    Put pecans in colander and pour a kettle of boiling water over them, then let them stay under the faucet and be under very hot water for a minute or two.
    Drain.
    Place a Turkish towel on counter with paper towels on top.
    Put pecans on this.
    Dry pecans. Roast in 250\u00b0 oven for an hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Spread butter into them and sprinkle lightly with salt.
