Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    1 c. whipping cream
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and cream, alternately with flour, beating well after each egg.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Place in cold oven; turn oven temperature to 325\u00b0.
    Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
