Buttermilk Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. Jell-O (any flavor desired)
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix Jell-O with pineapple and juice in a saucepan.
    Heat until Jell-O dissolves.
    Let cool.
    Add buttermilk, Cool Whip and nuts. Place in large Pyrex bowl.
    Top with sprinkle of nuts.
