Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 gal. sliced cucumbers
8 medium onions, sliced
1 tsp. salt
3 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar with 1 c. water
1 tsp. turmeric

Preparation

Boil ingredients together all but the cucumbers.
When boiling, add cucumbers.
Boil everything, then put in heated jars and seal.
