Butterscotch Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch flavored morsels
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. walnuts, chopped and divided
Preparation
    Butter 9-inch square pan.
    Spread 1/2 cup walnuts evenly on buttered bottom of pan; set aside.
    In large saucepan, combine marshmallow cream, sugar, evaporated milk, margarine and salt; bring to a full boil over moderate heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
    Add butterscotch morsels; stir until morsels melt and mixture is well blended.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour into prepared pan.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup walnuts on top.
    Chill in refrigerator until firm.
    Yield: 2 1/3 pounds.
