Trail'S End Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 large bell pepper
    1 large onion
    3 hot peppers (optional)
    2 pkg. brown gravy mix
    2 (15 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 (15 oz.) cans chili beans
    2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
    chili powder to taste
    1 pot coffee
Preparation
    Brown meat, onion and peppers.
    When peppers are tender, stir in brown gravy mix and add 1/2 pot coffee.
    Stir until gravy is mixed.
    Lightly chop tomatoes and add.
    Add tomato paste and beans.
    Add remaining 1/2 pot coffee and use chili powder to suit your taste.
    Bring to a boil while stirring.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Serve with crackers.
