Apple Crumb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Pare 6 medium apples.
Slice thin and add to cooked mixture.
Toss lightly to mix.
Spread evenly over crumbs; pat remaining crumbs over apples.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 50 to 55 minutes.
