Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. clam juice
    1/4 c. tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    salt to taste
    1 lb. drained canned minced clams
    1 Tbsp. chopped chives
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/3 c. celery
Preparation
    In a saucepan combine celery, clam juice, tomato paste, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 30 minutes; add water if too thick.
    Stir in clams, chives, parsley and oregano.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Serve on cooked linguini.
