Marci'S Sweet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium yams
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    1/2 to 3/4 stick margarine, softened
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    10 oz. pkg. large marshmallows
Preparation
    Cook yams and sweet potatoes until tender when poked with fork; drain.
    Partially cool and peel, removing any discolored portions.
    Mash; add softened margarine and brown sugar while still warm.
    Place in bowl, using electric mixer or blender until nice and smooth.
    Grease large casserole dish.
    Place half mixture in dish, placing part of marshmallows on top.
    Add remainder of mixture and smooth top.
    Place in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until nice and hot.
    Poke remaining marshmallows uniformly on top. Return to oven just until marshmallows are lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
    Serves 8.
