Swiss Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, boiled and sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or bacon drippings
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. sour cream
    grated Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Sprinkle potatoes with salt and pepper.
    Cream the butter or bacon drippings until very soft.
    Beat the egg yolks until thick and lemon colored.
    Blend with sour cream and butter or bacon drippings.
    Mix with potatoes and fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into 10-inch pie plate.
    Sprinkle generously with cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serves 6.
