Creole Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 c. cubed squash
    1/2 c. hot water
    1/4 c. tomato catsup
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Lightly brown bacon.
    Add onion and cook until golden brown. Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer until tender (15 to 20 minutes).
    Serves 4 to 6.
