Honey-Glazed Baked Pears - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium ripe pears
1 lemon
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
2 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. whipping cream or half and half
mint leaves (for garnish)
Preparation

Rinse and peel pears.
Cut into halves.
Remove cores. Lightly grease an ovenproof plate.
Place pear halves on plate, cut side down.
Squeeze juice from lemon.
Melt butter.
Brush pear halves with lemon juice.
Drizzle with
melted butter. Drizzle honey over pears and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes, basting with pan juices from time to time.
Add cream or half and half. Bake another 2 to 4 minutes. Remove from oven and garnish with mint leaves.
Serve warm.
