Old Timey Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 sticks margarine
1 c. molasses
3 1/4 c. flour (self-rising)
4 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Combine sugar, margarine and molasses; blend thoroughly.
Add one egg at a time, beating well after each egg.
Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and buttermilk.
Add at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
