Ingredients

1 pkg. Duncan Hines golden sugar cookie mix
2 egg whites, divided
1 tsp. coconut or almond extract
1 3/4 c. flaked coconut, divided
red candied cherries, halved
Preparation

Combine cookie mix, 1 egg white, almond extract and 1/2 of coconut.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Dip into remaining egg white.
Roll into remaining coconut.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Press candied cherry half into center of each cookie. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.
Remove to cooling rack.
