Chicken And Rice Soup With Celery Tops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer chicken
    4 1/2 c. water
    1 onion, quartered
    1 bay leaf
    1 bunch celery tops
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
    3 medium potatoes, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 green pepper, diced (less, if desired)
    2 carrots, cut into 2-inch long pieces
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 Tbsp. salt
    7 1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Simmer chicken in water for 1 hour.
    Take chicken out and set aside.
    Strain broth and place back in pot.
    Into broth, add vegetables and bouillon cubes.
    Chop chicken and return to pot. Simmer for 30 minutes.
    May add more water.
