Bloody Mary Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, diced
    3 ribs celery, diced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. tomato puree or paste
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    5 c. tomato juice
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. vodka
Preparation
    Saute onion and celery in butter until limp and golden.
    Add tomato puree and sugar.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Add tomato juice and simmer 8 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and strain.
    Return strained mixture to heat and bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Refrigerate 4 hours or more.
    Serve in bouillon cups and flame a tablespoon of vodka on top.
    The soup also can be served in well chilled, salt-rimmed low glasses.
