Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. grated rind
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Gradually stir in water; stir over medium heat until mixture boils.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Slowly stir half of mixture into slightly beaten egg yolks.
    Beat in remaining hot mixture.
    Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly until smooth.
    Blend in butter, lemon juice and lemon rind.
    Pour hot filling into baked pie shell.
    Cover with meringue.
    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until meringue is golden brown.
