24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce
    chopped green onion
    chopped green peppers
    chopped celery
    10 oz. frozen green peas
    2 c. Miracle Whip
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    6 slices crisp cooked bacon
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Break lettuce into 9 x 13-inch dish or pan.
    Top with desired amounts of green onion, green peppers and celery.
    Layer package of cooked green peas.
    Mix Miracle Whip and sugar.
    Spread this on top of peas.
    Sprinkle crisp (broken in small pieces) bacon on mayonnaise mixture.
    Then add cheese over top.
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
    Mix before serving.
