Oatmeal Macaroons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. nuts
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon or allspice
2 1/2 c. oats
Preparation

Place shortening, both sugars, vanilla and eggs in bowl and beat thoroughly.
Sift flour with soda.
Add salt and cinnamon. Add to first mixture and mix well.
Fold in oats and nuts.
Drop on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
