Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
    10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed or 1 1/2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
    2 egg whites
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Combine flour, brown sugar, pecans and margarine.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes in a 9-inch square pan, stirring often.
    Let cool.
    Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and egg whites. Beat at high speed on mixer for about 20 minutes or until light and fluffy.
    Fold whipped cream into strawberries.
    Remove 1/3 of crumbs from pan.
    Pat remaining crumbs into smooth layer.
    Pour strawberry mixture over crumbs in pan and sprinkle reserved crumbs over top.
    Freeze.
    Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
