Greek Casserole Dinner(Mousaka Kreas) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. sage
    4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onions
    1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
    1 3/4 c. water
Preparation
    In a frypan, brown meat slowly with the oil and sage.
    Cook potatoes in 1 cup boiling water, in a covered saucepan for 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Toss with salt and pepper and half can of French fried onions.
    Prepare sauce mix using 1 3/4 cups water.
    Arrange layers of potatoes, meat and sauce in a 2-quart buttered casserole dish, ending with sauce.
    Cover dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Add remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
