Tearoom Tortilla Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. oil
2 large onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
4 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes
6 cans stewed tomatoes
8 c. chicken broth
4 c. beef broth
3 c. chopped chicken
2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. cumin
corn tortillas
Cheddar cheese
Preparation

In a skillet, saute the oil, onions and garlic.
Chop the stewed tomatoes in a food processor.
Pour onions and garlic into large saucepan and add remaining ingredients and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
Just before serving, add 16 to 20 slices corn tortillas. Serve with Cheddar cheese grated on top.
