Quarkstollen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    500 g. raisins
    100 ml. rum
    500 g. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    4 drops almond extract
    1 pinch ground cloves
    150 g. diced candied lemon peel
    100 g. diced candied orange peel
    1 pinch cardamon
    1 pinch ginger
    1 pinch nutmeg
    1 pinch cinnamon
    grated orange peel
    2 eggs
    175 g. soft unsalted butter
    250 g. Quark
    250 g. ground almonds
Preparation
    Soak raisins in rum in jar overnight.
    Mix together other ingredients.
    Knead with mixer.
    Turn out and work by kneading on surface.
    Add the raisins and keep kneading until smooth dough. Shape into loaf.
    Put on baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper.
    Bake at 160\u00b0 to 180\u00b0 C. for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Brush with 100 g. melted butter and 50 g. icing sugar when stollen is removed from oven.
