Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. popped corn
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
    1/4 c. light syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Put popped corn in brown paper bag.
    Mix brown sugar, margarine, light syrup and salt.
    Microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes. Stir after each minute until it boils, then boil 2 minutes more. Add baking soda; stir.
    Pour over corn in bag.
    Close and shake. Microwave on High 1 1/2 minutes.
    Shake again; microwave on High 1 1/2 minutes.
    Shake bag.
    Pour into pan to cool.
