Salmon And Cheese Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (7.75 oz.) cans salmon
    1 egg
    1 c. medium Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. sweet basil
    1/4 c. medium Cheddar cheese, grated (for topping)
Preparation
    Drain salmon, reserving liquid.
    Flake salmon and crush bones. In a bowl, beat egg.
    Add salmon, reserved liquid, grated cheese, bread crumbs, onion, melted butter, salt, pepper and basil.
    Pour into a greased loaf pan.
