1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. jam
4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

If you use self-rising flour, do not use soda and salt. Cream sugar and butter. Add sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Add flour, milk and spices and then jam. This will make 4 big layers. Bake at 350\u00b0.
