Beef Foldovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) cans refrigerated biscuits
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 qt. 6 oz. cooking oil
Preparation
    Separate biscuits.
    Pat each out on a floured surface to 5-inch circle.
    Brown meat, onion, green pepper and oregano.
    Place a heaping tablespoonful of meat mixture on biscuit circle.
    Fold in half and seal edges with a fork.
    Deep fat fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
    Makes 20 foldovers.
